Guest nelsh Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 A Download exe.exe folder with a string of numbers for a name. When I try to delete it access is denied. Even logged on to the administrator account. Having installed something is there no way I can remove it?
Guest ddamico Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 RE: Deleting Access denied folder You can try this utility from Microsoft (Sysinternals) or I believe that Barts book disk might allow you to boot to a cd and delete file in a PE environment. MoveFile - Schedule file rename and delete commands for the next reboot. This can be useful for cleaning stubborn or in-use malware files.
