Guest ray124c41 Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I have Windows XP SP2, not part of a domain. As described in my response to the "Task Scheduler" query by Fred Flintstone, I managed to set up my system so, after having assigned a password to the "Owner" account, I can schedule tasks and not have to log on when I boot or come out of standby. It works very well. Anyway, the remaining problem is that Norton SystemWorks One Button Cleanup needs to reboot after it does its thing. After the last time it ran via the schedule ( this was also the first time), I brought the PC out of standby to find a dialog box displaying, requesting that I click a button on the box so it can reboot and complete the task or tasks. My question is: One Button Cleanup is configured to scan and repair automatically. Is there some way I can get the reboot done automatically as well? -- ray124c41

Run 'shutdown /?' on how to use it.
Guest Bob I Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Re: Schedule a reboot? Get rid of "One button cleanup" and the problem no longer exists. ray124c41 wrote: > I have Windows XP SP2, not part of a domain. > > As described in my response to the "Task Scheduler" query by Fred > Flintstone, I managed to set up my system so, after having assigned a > password to the "Owner" account, I can schedule tasks and not have to log on > when I boot or come out of standby.
