Guest titus12 Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I was on Myspace when an alert popped up about sights I had visited. I did not recognize any sights. The product was Drivecleaner from drivecleaner.com. Is this spam? I placed it blocked in my settings. Thank you; David

A good place to check these things out is MVP Eric Howes's page here: http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm Although your subject line indicates that IE was hijacked, I gather from the body of your message that IE was not hijacked and you are not infected. If that isn't correct, you can remove DriveCleaner by finding the removal instructions here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum55.html Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers http://www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!"
