Monitor help required?

Hi Hope no one else has this problem! I am sorry if this has been on b4 but i am new!

My monitor which is a 19" Benq tft flat screen monitor, every now and again goes off! It doesnt actually power off, but the screen just goes black and then after a few seconds its back on! I have checked and rechecked all my leads and now am not sure what else to do HELP PLEASE? lol.

Have you disabled the screensaver from kicking in?

 

What do you have your Power settings set at in Control Panel?

Also depending on what you are doing (games and full screen apps)

Always set the refresh rate to 59Hz rather than 60Hz - if you have it set to 60 and it drops below this amount the monitor will appear to power down.

if you set it to 59 and it drops below that - it will not power down ;)
