Guest Robert X Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Hello, I'm using a laptop (ASUS A8JA) with windows XP Pro. I have a sound card and a microphone which allows me to chat via Skype for example. Now I would like to record my own voice (for english lessons) on this laptop. What have I to do : add any software ? Thanks for your help Robert
Guest R. McCarty Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Re: Voice recorder on XP Pro ? Windows XP has a built-in facility, "Sound Recorder". However, it has a rather limited total recording time. There is a workaround to extend times but it is probably easier to just download/use a program, Audacity for sound recording: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ "Robert X" <robert@libre.gaulle> wrote in message news:uOQjoMm3HHA.5724@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > Hello, > > I'm using a laptop (ASUS A8JA) with windows XP Pro.
