I need help with Minitool

Good morning or good evening. I recently installed the Software "Minitool" because I couldn't resize my C partition using the Windows default tool. After opening the software I simply followed the instructions, I made sure that 30GB of the 400 free was unallocated. I then hit "Apply". I was asked to restart my PC, which I did. After which the Wizard went to work and after reaching 100% I found myself on "attempt to repair" and this for almost an hour. Could someone enlighten me? I don't have an external backup so it would be unfortunate if I lost my data. Thank you.Edit: After a while another
