Hi

Is there a way that I can scan all the softwares installed on a PC /

Server / Network .

It would be great if the tool can perform on Unix, Linux and Windows

ie compatible with all OS types.

1. Scan for what? What is your end goal? Inventory? Virus-checking?

2. Can't answer question #2 without knowing the answer to question #1.

Try downloading "BELARC" and running it on one computer running Windows.

It even shows things like make/model of mobo and other hardware on that

comp. It also shows softwares and lic. numbers. Also shows all of the

Windows Updates already downloaded & installed. Maybe this will help--hope

so. s
