USB Mouse seems to lock up system

My mother is using a basic MS usb mouse with the latest

intellipoint drivers and the mouse locks up usually on the first boot every

day. Then after rebooting the computer seems fine. I noticed that the usb

hub and sata hard drive seem to be sharing IRQ 21. Do you think that could

be the problem?
