RandyL Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 You might need to go into your BIOS and set the boot order to boot from the CD-ROM first. Quote We are all members helping other members. maynardvdm Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 When the computer first start press F2 or Del (it should say on the screen which one). You dont even need a hard drive to go into the BIOS ;) Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. Tony D Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 You wouldn't need to change the boot order if the hard drive was wiped. Because it doesn't contain a vaild OS, the boot order doesn't matter. ctex44 Posted July 25, 2008 Author Posted July 25, 2008 HARD DRIVE SO, KELLY WHAT DO I DO TO RUN OS CD ON MY COMPUTER ? Quote
Goku Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 You have to set the CD-ROM as your first boot device in BIOS and then boot from it to install your Operating System. :) Also, please don't write in all capital letters as it is considered shouting in the cyber world. -- Goku Quote
Guest Wolfeymole Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Sound to me like you wiped the recovery partition also, if so you ain't going anywhere with regard to reinstalling the OS. Quote
