I wiped my hard drive because of malice software problem, now i can't get my restore cd to work on hard drive.

is there something i'am not doing correct or something i need to know about installing my os back onto my computer

You might need to go into your BIOS and set the boot order to boot from the CD-ROM first.

When the computer first start press F2 or Del (it should say on the screen which one).

 

You dont even need a hard drive to go into the BIOS ;)

You wouldn't need to change the boot order if the hard drive was wiped. Because it doesn't contain a vaild OS, the boot order doesn't matter.

You have to set the CD-ROM as your first boot device in BIOS and then boot from it to install your Operating System. :)

 

Also, please don't write in all capital letters as it is considered shouting in the cyber world.

Sound to me like you wiped the recovery partition also, if so you ain't going anywhere with regard to reinstalling the OS.
