Guest henrytsang Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I had the TS Server 2003 (64 Bits) All the Client (OS : 32 bits XP) using the application program at TS server by remote desktop connection. All the clients can't share the local printer at the TS Server eventhough we had configed to share the printer at remote desktop connection. But I can share the local printer at TS Server 2003 when the client's OS is 32 bit Server 2003. What can I do to share XP's local printer at TS Server 2003. Please give me a solution. Thanks a lot
Guest Jeff Pitsch Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Re: printer problem at TS server 2003 (64 bits) Do you mean printer redirection or the actually sharing a pc's printer? Printer redirection may be simply that the print driver names are different between 32-bits and 64-bits. In this case you'd want to implement something like this: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=239088 By the way,are you getting in the event logs? Guest Helge Klein Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Re: printer problem at TS server 2003 (64 bits) If you try to access the client's printer as a network printer from the terminal server then you may have to install the x64 driver on the 32 bit client. I hope this helps.
