Windows 11: Can Microsoft fix Office so it releases memory after closing apps?

It is amazing to me that whenever I open Excel, Word or other MS Office products after closing application, the task and memory is still hanging around in Windows 11. The same happens if I use Edge browser. I don't have this issue with Google Chrome, Adobe products or most other software. This has been the worst part of moving to Windows 11, finding that memory issues are caused by using Microsoft products with their newest OS. I have Microsoft 365 and so far no update has fixed this problem. I hate waiting on memory disk swapping that should not be occurring. I have to use Task Manager
