Removing Windows Media Player from a Server

As it's not (hopefully) required, how do I completely remove Removing Windows

Media Player from a Server from a server installation? It's not in the

Add/Remove Components?

[And why is WMP installed anyway on a server? It shouldn't be required and

it has had almost as much security issues as IE!]

Thanks

Tried this?

If you click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, double-click

Add/Remove Programs, click the Windows Setup tab, click Multimedia, and then

click Details, there is a Media Player check box for adding or removing Media

Player.

This post is provided as-is and is my opinion, check the facts before doing

anything in production.

First I'm not to thrilled about your tone.

Second. there is no Windows Setup tab. Just Change/Remove, Add and Windows

components.
