Guest Bob I Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Re: PC Sound You likly installed an incorrect driver for your sound card, maybe thru Window Updates? Try opening Device Manager, and navigate to the sound card, rclick it, then Properties, Driver, and Rollback driver. The speakers don't matter for this problem. You almost certainly just have the wrong driver installed for your hardware. Uninstall the card drivers, identify the card or chip, and install the correct drivers. Audit apps like Belarc Advisor can tell you what the chipset involved is, if you have no other way of telling. http://belarc.com/free_download.html HTH -pk > > "Rasjahshout" wrote: > >> Does anyone know how to make my PC sound go back to normal ..... it is >> accelerated some how so it sounds like the Chipmunks are singing on my >> PC.....
