Guest Bill Martin Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I'm running XP Home with all the updates applied. My problem is with trying to make the "scan" button on a Canon MP530 activate my ArcSoft program that I use with other scanners. The ArcSoft is happy to work with the scanner if I invoke it manually. As it should, the XP Scan Wizard will bring up a list of what it thinks are all the relevant programs on the machine capable of handling a scanner. Somehow it omits to find the ArcSoft program. The question is whether there is some way that I can tell XP to add the program to its Scan Wizard list? Some hack to the Registry or some such? Thanks. Bill

Are you using the driver from Canon?
