Adobe Problem

Am unable to download Adobe flashplayer gives a fault code of 19166,have tried using Adobe removal tool and Adobe other suggestions but to no avail.The suggestion re, a registary fault appears to be about a computer system and not stand alone

Hi Miles;

I usually see download problems with Adobe Shockwave player not Adobe Flash Player. In either case try downloading the stand alone installers to your desktop then install frome there.

Did you try to set your Internet Zone security to default?

In IE open Tools\Internet Options\Security press button "Default level".

Then go to Advanced (Tools\Internet Options\Advanced), scroll down to Java and see if the check box is checked.

 

Enable "Active scripting" to allow javascript to run.

It is under custom settings for the security zone such as

"Internet zone" or "Trusted Sites".
