windows 10 media player. Why won't it update media player to include videos? my files have both mp3 and cdg but only mp3 will play. I added a new feat

Why won't windows 10 upgrade my media player to include video? I've tried adding a new feature to apps but that didn't help. My files contain both mp3 and cdg but I can only play mp3
