Hello,

I hope someone can help with this :-

 

Using windows xp home. photographs loaded onto the PC show as 'stretched' vertically slightly. Recently i had to have everything reinstalled and since then this has happened.

 

Any suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

What size and resolution is the monitor and what file format are the pics?

Hello and Welcome to FPCH. :)

 

Have you tried realigning the height of the monitor by pressing the buttons given below the screen? If not, then please try so and see if it helps or not.

1280x768 seems wrong to me should be either 1280x1024 or 1024x768

I have the option of 1280x768 and it does look distorted. Mine is set to 1280x800 and looks perfect.
