Guest Derrick Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Does anyone know if there is a way to specify which programs open into which monitors in Windows XP Pro without having to use any type of third party software. I work for a medical institution and we cannot load any additional software on these machines but we need a certain application to open in certain monitors. The problem is that we are using 2-3 video cards for up to 5 monitors, the program that we are working with has the ability to open in 2 or 4 monitors, what we are trying to do now is to add a 3rd or 5th monitor to work on things outside of that program. But everytime we add the 3rd monitor and restart, when the program restarts it opens in the 3rd monitor not in 1 or 2. Any suggestions?

Guest DL Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Re: Multiple Monitor Support If you are using multimonotor video cards was the multimonitor utilities supplied with the videocards installed? or are you simply relying on WinXp multimonitor, if that is the case I'm not sure you can "Derrick" <Derrick@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CAB8990D-FFEC-49FC-939D-341625BCB7ED@microsoft.com... > Does anyone know if there is a way to specify which programs open into > which > monitors in Windows XP Pro without having to use any type of third party > software.
