w2k to w2k3 upgrade

Hi,

 

Can i upgrade a w2k child domain to w2k3 without having access to the forest

domain admin access. Howveer, i have full control over the child domain , and

what is some issue i may run into.

Hello john,

 

The first thing you have to check if you can run adprep /forestprep adprep

/domainprep on the SCHEMA master in your forest/domain. Because the schema

has to be prepared for 2003 other wise you can not upgrade.
