Software to Answer the Phone with Choices

Is there PC software that will answer my phone, and give the caller a choice

of continuing, leaving a message or getting a informational message (say,

about the weather for the day)?

Answering system software comes to mind. Often, software like this is

bundled with modems, since a modem is needed to handle the call.

And you might try this:

Typing phone answer software into Google gave me about 85,300,000

hits. My guess is that at least one of them might have something like

what you are looking for.

Thanks, but I'm quite familiar with Google. As I recall, Google has been

around for quite a few years, and probably 10 people on the planet do not

know about it. :-) I've hit a lot of sites without any good results.

Actually, I found two, but neither have responded to my request for more

information. I suspect there might be a better NG for this question.

Although I have a primitive version of this (dating from '98) you could have

a look at Supervoice, it may do what you want.

I'll look for it. I think Google might be a safe bet.
