Guest Matt Modica Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Hello, I think I posted this a little while ago but can't seem to find it so I will post it again. Somehow (I don't know how), my .NET 1.1 Framework became corrupt ( I think). I noticed when I tried to open Media Center, which displayed this error: http://picsorban.com/view.php?pic=error2.png I did a little searching and discovered I needed to reinstall the .NET Framework because it was some how "messed up". However, after reinstalling, the same thing happens. When I try to install SP1 for he .NET Framework and an update for Media Center, I get this error when installing both: http://picsorban.com/view.php?pic=error1.png I discovered I needed to run the .NET Framework cleanup tool, but the one link I could find to it kept timing out. So now I am stuck. BTW I did run the System File checker and it did ask for the XP CD (which I gave it), but towards the end it asked for the 'Windows XP Professional CD2". I put in disk two that came with the Windows set of disks, but it said I inserted the wrong CD. I tried disk one, but got the same message. I'm assuming that might have fixed it, but I can't get it to work. Running Windows XP MCE. Thanks in advance.
