Hi

Welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help.

Does the motherboard have an onboard graphics card or do you have a seperate graphics card?

Make sure all the components are securely connected.

Sounds like the Graphics card -

Can you list what you have bought including the CPU, MOBO, RAM, PSU etc.

Also are you 100% sure that you have connected the case wires properly on the Motherboard - they can be fiddly and hard to see the -/+ on some of them - just double check that they are in the right way and list back the parts please :)

Try taking one of the RAM sticks out - or swapping the Channels etc - the board does support PC5300 (667Mhz) so thats ok.

Hmmm, the 4 pin ATX connector is tight??

Sorry if these questions sound really stupid ;)

Is the monitor on and the brightness turned up?

Did you take just ONE stick out Tony or both?

Ok 4 slots for the RAM to occupy yes - try 1 stick ONLY in the slots one at a time - see what happens

so 1 stick of RAM in 1st DIMM then 2ND then 3RD etc
