Guest digimom Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 I had to reformat and re-install my XP sp2 on my desktop...generic computer. Device Manager shows Network adapters: 1394 Net adapter, that's all...but right under this it lists Other devices: Ethernet controller "Yellow ?" which says, when clicked on, Drivers for this device are not installed (code 28)....I don't have a disk for this, nor do I have any drivers..... My broadband connects just fine on my laptop. Any help would be most appreciated. Laptop is Vista....

Guest Gregg Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Re: Drivers for Ethernet in XP???? If your NIC is built into the mother board go to the board manufacturer site and find the drivers for you model of board. If the NIC is a PCI add on do the same thing for the PCI board manufacturer.
