maz_e Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Firstly i wanna say hello to everyone, as im a newbie to this Forum, I found this forum outta desperation, as i have a problem which no one seems to beable 2 give any advise on how to solve this problem. Ive been using ZSHARE for a while now, and i personally found it to be one of the best File sharing sites on the net. i don't no if you all Familur or have u used ZSHARE, but here goes :- when u get a link to a file, you open it up in browser, and it comes up with a player, where you Preview listen/watch to your file before you download, but now it says connecting, then says ready, but nothing comes up, Secondly when u hit the download button, the counter comes & when it finishes, you can click where its says HERE, and usually then u get the option to save ETC.... but instead of doing that it takes you back to the main page. Like i said i been using Zshare for ages, now its playing up, ive tried all sorts of things wot ppl have suggested like:- clear cookies, clear cache and disabled Firewalls ETC. nothing works. ive searched all over the net, for answers, and ive found nothing, except for others with the same problem also with no answers. I would be so greatful for advice and information to solve this problem. Thanks ................................. Quote

RandyL Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 What is limelinx? Is this limewire for linux? Are you using other P2P file sharing programs besides these two? ZShared and Limelinx so far. Any others? Never mind. Upon furthur consideration I think you are breaching our rules (note rule 4) on offering support on file sharing as you now state that you are trying other programs besides the one you listed originally. Should you need any help removing these programs or removing the bundled programs and follow up malware removal let us know. We can help you with that. Let us know please lest your system be corrupted forever. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. Seth Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Sounds more like a problem with Zshare, but try these options: 1) "Reset" internet explorer (as opposed to "restoring advanced options": 1.Open Internet Explorer 7. 2.Click Tools, and then click Internet Options. 3.Click the Advanced tab. 4.Under Reset Internet Explorer Settings, click Reset. 2) Upgrade your flash player and Java. 3) Disable your internet security and firewall and try the site. 4) Keep tapping F8 as the computer starts. A boot menu will appear. Use the arrows keys to select "Safe Mode With Networking". Now try the site. Quote Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help. tcee Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 This may be of interest to you. You are not the only person with this problem. I have the same one. Exactly how you describe it. I have also found a number of people across the web with the same problem and here it gets strange. I am now using a different computer at a different location and i can play all zshare files. Yet when i am at home i cant. So its not down to zshare. If i find a solution i will post it here. Quote
