Guest Jim Maxwell Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 Difficult to descirbe but here goes: Example I open the "Run" Command window and try to move my mouse to it. If I am to slow the window disappears, but if I get there quick enough I can use it. Same issue applies to many other dialogue boxes. Any suggestions? Regards Jim

Make sure that the dialog boxes are not covered by another window - hit the "Show Desktop" icon located in the Quicklaunch toolbar and try again (Start > Run). If that window still disappears, scan your system for malware ASAP. -- d-d
Guest Jim Maxwell Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 RE: Disappearing Dialogue Boxes-Problem Many thanks for the swift response, I appear to have cured it by defraging the disk, but I will still take your advice and scan for malware "Jim Maxwell" wrote: > Difficult to descirbe but here goes: > > Example I open the "Run" Command window and try to move my mouse to it. > > If I am to slow the window disappears, but if I get there quick enough I can > use it.
