Svr2003 TS vs XP RDP..

I have a service-like java app that I used to run on an XP system, but to

consolidate machines, I've moved the java app to a Win2K3 server. The app

tends to die quite a bit, so I need to be able to access it via TS/RDP thru a

vpn OR from the server console to be able to restart it. Under XP, the app

ran under an unpriv user account, and if I RDP'ed into the XP system as that

user, I saw (or didnt see) the app on the taskbar, and could take action to

restart it if necessary. Under Win2K3/TS, this has become a chore.. Assuming

I started the app on the console, logged in as the unpriv user, if I logged

in via RDP via the same unpriv user, it was obvious I was looking at another

session, not the console session..

The TS on the server is configured for remote admin mode.. If possible, is

there a setting that will configure TS like RDP on WinXP??

Thanks

Check the setting "Allow only a single session per user account"

(this is the default), to be automatically connected to your

existing session.
