High end computer freezing/ crashing in an odd way, no useful information in system event viewer.

A few months ago I put together a high end computer, and for the most part, it works fine. However, I have come across some unsettling freezing/ crashing with no error message or event in the event viewer, besides "System rebooted without cleanly shutting down" When this freeze happens, I can still click into tabs, but when I do the tab freezes and I cant interact with the application. Mouseover popups/ right click submenus also persist on the screen, slightly transparent. I usually have to force shut off my computer.
