Yes It's me again... I've just moved forums lol....

In the power settings, my laptop claims it's battery is at 100%. When I run the battery optimizer, it also claims the charge is complete.. (it only took 4 min when it said it could take up to 8 hours..)

However! If I unplug the ac adapter guess what happens :) boooooom! Not even a slight warning.. it just totally turns off.

What should be my next call of action here, other than filing quite a claim on the person that sold me this... I was told the battery held a charge.

Thanks for all the help!

Oh bleh.. I was afraid of that... now to start the hunt for a battery that works in this thing! :(

It has problem after problem.. the screen also scrolls up and down VERY fast on startup.. and blips and shakes all over. When the os loads it stops.. but it leads me to believe that there's something wrong with the screen..

I think a paypal claim might be in order here...

As Wolfey has said the battery is dead - batteries need to be maintained - they need a first long charge and then need completely draining every now and then.

most people just leave them plugged in at ALL times and that just kills the battery.

as for the screen - if it only happens at the start up and then when windows is loaded chances are that it is something else or it would do it all the time - try and get an updated graphics driver. :)
