Hi,

Do you mean this error message:

"Corrupted or missing C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM"

Here are some info and solutions you may need your XP CD installation media

to accomplish some operations to recover your system:

How to recover from a corrupted registry that prevents Windows XP from

starting

Re: error

Why? They are directed towards finding a solution to the problem the OP

has. It is an indicator that I am offering assistance not seeking help.

Are we to assume that you are always Grumpy just because you choose that

alias as part of your name and rarely say anything positive?

Hope this helps.

I always assumed that he's naturally grumpy, and honest enough to admit it.

Re: error

It does make one wonder Gary why some comments get made. I cannot see

how I choose to sign my posts really raises any earth shattering issues?

Grumpy brings to mind a line spoken by Donald Sutherland in Kelly's

Heroes "You gotta think positive"!
