Seth Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Is the system getting past the bios screen and starting to load XP? Tap F8 as soon as you turn on the computer. At the boot menu, use the arrow keys and press enter when you reach "Last Known Good Configuration". If that doesn't work, try Safe Mode, followed by Enable VGA mode (if it's in the list). If the system is not even starting to load XP, then the laptop has a hardware problem. Quote Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help.
