Does it show up in My Computer?

You're saying the second drive disappeared from Windows Explorer for no apparent reason, but it can be seen by Disk Manager, or Device Manager, or both?. Is this a physical drive, or a partition? In Disk Management, on the bottom right pane it will have, Disk 0, Disk 1 etc., and it will have a coloured line with a description underneath, Healthy, Unused, or something else, and the drive letter it has assigned to the partition. Can you see the disk or partition?
