ok, for those that have been following the saga lol...hard drive failure, etc

etc, been to the Dell website, downloaded all drivers for my computer

etc...no internet

ok, my question is basically which device/driver controls the ethernet

side...just so I can make sure it is there

by the way...internet works fine on my laptop, and it shouldnt need

installing etc, becuase its broadband and the computer should pick it

up...shouldnt it haha

If you look in Hardware Devices are there any exclamation marks shown?

In Network Connections the Lan connection is enabled & Firewalled?

or perhaps you have a third party Firewall solution that is blocking it?

Laptop

You still need ethernet drivers if thats what your broadband is connected to
