pages visited

Posted

Usually when I visit a link on a list ( like Digg) the link changes color to

show I have visited it. This no longer happens. How do I fix this problem,

please.

Hi John,

 

I can only speak for IE6, but open "Internet Options">General tab>Colors

button, and look on the right side at "Links". That's where it shows the

color changes.

I'm using IE ( I also use Mozilla and don't have the problem there)--I have

the colors set but they don't change after I visit a page.

Hi John,

 

I understand now. A little Google research yielded others with that

problem, and it appears a corrupt "History" folder can do that. There are a

couple different ways to go about remedying the problem, shown on this page

(other posters have claimed success after trying):

That got it-went step by step and problem resolved after I deleted history.
