Guest JohnF Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Usually when I visit a link on a list ( like Digg) the link changes color to show I have visited it. This no longer happens. How do I fix this problem, please. john
Guest Curt Christianson Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Re: pages visited Hi John, I can only speak for IE6, but open "Internet Options">General tab>Colors button, and look on the right side at "Links". That's where it shows the color changes. -- HTH, Curt Windows Support Center http://www.aumha.org Practically Nerded,... http://dundats.mvps.org/Index.htm "JohnF" <JohnF@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4F86E4CB-F635-44B5-81B7-745DB90D3ED8@microsoft.com... | Usually when I visit a link on a list ( like Digg) the link changes color to | show I have visited it. Guest JohnF Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Re: pages visited Hi Curt I'm using IE ( I also use Mozilla and don't have the problem there)--I have the colors set but they don't change after I visit a page. Guest Curt Christianson Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Re: pages visited Hi John, I understand now. A little Google research yielded others with that problem, and it appears a corrupt "History" folder can do that. There are a couple different ways to go about remedying the problem, shown on this page (other posters have claimed success after trying): http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm -- HTH, Curt Windows Support Center http://www.aumha.org Practically Nerded,... http://dundats.mvps.org/Index.htm "JohnF" <JohnF@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:973AD8D2-BC1F-448C-B1B7-833E3E43F84C@microsoft.com... | Hi Curt | | I'm using IE ( I also use Mozilla and don't have the problem there)--I have | the colors set but they don't change after I visit a page. | | "Curt Christianson" wrote: | | > Hi John, | > | > I can only speak for IE6, but open "Internet Options">General tab>Colors | > button, and look on the right side at "Links".
