Guest Chuck T Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 I have just discovered on a Dell Dimension 8250 I bought used about a year ago in a system information listing, under "Activation Status" the statement "Activation Pending (30 days remaining)". There is no Windows Activation icon in the system tray, and in System Tools there is no "Activate Windows" button, icon, or option. How can I determine if this Windows XP is activated or not, and if not how do I activate it, and if so, why is that "Activation Pending..." statement there? The version is 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600. -- Chuck T
