Guest Sunny Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Is it possible to show the local area/activity connection icon on the task bar? It's the small icon of two computers. (Using Win98SE on another PC and connected to my ISP by cable) It doesn't seem as easy to find it like in WinXP :-)

Here's a program that might do what you want: http://www.download.com/LanLight/3000-2381_4-5402399.html?tag=lst-0-1 I found it by going to http://www.download.com and searching for "network activity". You should be able to find other similar programs there. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
