Guest Dark Hobbit Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Greetings, Our university has automatic updates set to always on, but I generally check for updates on various programs manually also. Unfortunately the other week I manually installed some that were waiting to be installed automatically and now every time I boot the machine I receive the popup saying the computer must be rebooted to finish installation. It does not continue with the messages after I select No (fortunately) but it is a nuisance. Windows updates are not listed in Add/Remove Programs on our machines. Is there any way short of roll back of multiple weeks to fix this problem?

Guest Dark Hobbit Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Re: Request for reboot on startup Thank you for responding. Unfortunately there are no values under either field, so looking for something else to attempt.
