Windows Server 2000 Terminal Server Licensing

Hi,

I want to install a Server Terminal Server Licensing Windows 2000 on a Server Windows2000.

The Server (not a DC) is a member of domain Windows 2003 Active Directory.(

After install it, the service Terminal Server Licensing don't start.

 

With event viewer, i have this message error :

Terminal Services licensing has been installed on a server that is not in a workgroup or on a server that is not a domain controller (DC) for the domain it is based in. To resolve the issue, install Terminal Services Licensing service on a DC. The DC does not necessarily need to be run the Terminal Services service, just the Terminal Servers Licensing service.

 

 

How can I install it ?

By default, a Win2k license server must be on a domain controller. Keep

in mind that a Win2k3 server can act as a license server for Win2k. If

you really must install it on a win2k non-dc (although again, there is

no reason for this), then I belive you can specify a switch for the

service which something like -nodc.
