Under Xp Pro I kept running into Drive is busy when I tried to use the DVD

burner

under Acronis TI 10, (attempting to create image of partition). It stumped

me, until I tried stopping all Roxio services, under control alt DEL, once

all Roxio services were stopped I was able to successfully access my DVD

Burner using True image.

is anyone aware of a fix to Roxio or TI so that services won't have to be

manually stopped to use the Burner?

You're probably using Roxio's "Drag-to-disk" (or similar), which takes

control of the drive to a great extent. My guess is that uninstalling that

part of your Roxio suite would fix the problem.

exactly, and how do I go about doing that

slip in the roxio cd and remove that portion?

roxios drag and drop is a pain.

That or use Add/Remove Programs. Find the Roxio entry, click on Change, then

follow the prompts (they vary from version to version.) You should get to a

panel that lets you change components, repair or uninstall. Choose the

obvious one.
