Windows 11 PC starts with full battery and is plugged in while using but drains gives no warning before shutting down and losing all my information

Windows 11, upgraded from 10, I start day with full battery, I do not unplug, however it does not continue to charge, it just shuts down several hours later causing loss of valuable information working on
