Guest Eric Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Does anyone have any suggestions on how to install .NET framework 2.0 or greater for XP? I have downloaded the tools seaTools under Seagate.com to check any bad sector for HDD. Once I install it, it requests for installing .NET framework, and I get no idea on how to get it. Does anyone have any suggestions? On the other hands, does XP have any tools to check bad sectors for HDD? Thank you for any suggestions Eric

First of all, note that if you have a program that wants the .net framework 2.0, that's what you need, not "or greater." Download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en or http://tinyurl.com/758p8 Note for the future, by the way, that Google is a very easy way to get questions like this answered. > I have downloaded the tools seaTools under Seagate.com to check any bad > sector for HDD.
