I encountered a glitch on my PC where all games were limited to 60 fps in full screen mode, but not in windowed mode(But for some games windowed mode also capped at 60). I tried various troubleshooting steps such as disabling V-sync, reinstalling graphics drivers, and following YouTube tutorials, but none of them resolved the issue. Eventually, I found that disabling variable refresh rate uncapped the fps and fixed the problem. However, I noticed a significant drop in performance when variable refresh rate was turned off.
