Guest Not Sure Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Is it normal (it is purely visual) or do I missing something to configure on my graphic control panel? Can I use both my tv and monitor connected to my cpu in at the same time? Any help is appreciated.
Guest Bob I Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Re: TV has no sound when connected to PC Video cards don't process audio. Sound cards process audio. Unless you connect the sound card to the TV there can't be any sound. Guest Not Sure Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Re: TV has no sound when connected to PC "Bob I" already answered my first question, which is in the subject line. My second question, just for my additional question, I'm asking if I can connect TV and monitor to my pc. Just like having two monitors... -- =================================== "David B." wrote: > Your subject and your question are not related at all, how about clarifying > what your trying to do and what's not working. > > -- > > ---- > Crosspost, do not multipost http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm > How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 > How to Post http://www.dts-l.org/goodpost.htm > _________________________________________________________________________________ > > > "Not Sure" <NotSure@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:17C3A5AF-0A30-4DFE-B02B-7CC12CE60B65@microsoft.com... > > Is it normal (it is purely visual) or do I missing something to configure > > on > > my graphic control panel? > > > > Can I use both my tv and monitor connected to my cpu in at the same time? > > > > Any help is appreciated. > >

Just like having two monitors... You can if the video card supports it. Maybe a S-video out port on the card.
Guest SteveL Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 RE: TV has no sound when connected to PC If your video card has a s-video jack plug it in you are done. Be aware though that unless if it is a CRT television, you won't be able to match the resolution of the monitor, so it won't look that great.
