Windows 10 cd/dvd device not found nor can I add it. Done all recommendations, drivers, registry code checked . Will play CD music

Explorer will see music CD. Device manger does NOT show CD/DVD drives, There are TWO.Same problem with both. Tried driver update, & reinstall. Did search for new devices - nothing. These worked before. I am building a new computer and installed 2 cd/dvd and windows 10 sees these.
