Hello, First of all, please do not use capital letters constantly in your posts. It is considered to be shouting and rude. Your issue is related to Windows Desktop Search. Go to Control Panel - Add/Remove Software and scroll down to Windows Desktop Search. Uninstall it. Reboot. Problem should be over. Regards, Steve
Guest Patti MacLeod Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 RE: WINDOWS XP : LOG OFF PROBLEM Hi BILIMORIA, What version of Windows Desktop Search do you have installed? If not the most recent version (currently is 3.01), then d/load and install the most recent version: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/desktopsearch/downloads/default.mspx#wds1 If the problem is not resolved, prior to shutting down/restarting, right-click the tray icon for WDS and select Exit.
