Guest Panic Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 My brother says every time to boots up he get a Windows Installer window that he can only close using End Task procedures. Anyone have a idea why he keeps getting that option. I had him confirm he doesn't have his Win XP CD loaded. I searched Help for Windows Installer and one of the options to make changes was using msiexec /i at the command line. I asked him to check for that command in Start... msconfig....Start Up and uncheck it if it showed there. Any other ideas?
