Guest pelleindc Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Hi, Hopefully someone can help me with this problem. Last week I ran a registry cleaner and software uninstall. Ever since then there is a nasty never ending loop. Immediately after startup a window pops up stating: 'Please wait while Windows configures Rexio Media Manager' After a while i get following error message: 'Unable to find a certtficate file' I click ok and the 'Please wait....' continues with 'Gathering required information'. At that time msiexec.exe takes 100% of the CPU utilization. Tried ending the process in taskmgr but that jus retarts the process. Tried the cancel button in the window as well but that only changes the status message to 'Canceling' bring the CPU util to 100%. What to do? I do not need Roxio and I would prefer to remove the program completely. Thanks in advance. Pelle

If not able, go into Win Explorer, find Roxio, look at files in right pane, activate the "unist."-file & remove it that way. Done it w/other ap's--file may be spelled kinda funny, but usually I can pick out the one that refers to "Uninstall". Luck, s
