Guest Cristiano (GoodspeedRS) Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Does anyone know a way to discover which process is consuming most disk IO in Windows Server 2003? Think about a Terminal Services Windows Server that has more than 700 processes running. Performance Monitor and SysInternals Process Explorer provided some help in the past. Is there a tool like Resource Monitor in Vista ou Windows Server 2008 available to Windows Server 2003? Tks in advance. ps.: sorry my english.

It will depends if processes last a long time on the system or close/open frequently. Antivirus can be a good disk i/o eater if misconfigured. Do you defrag often ? -- Cordialement, Mathieu CHATEAU http://lordoftheping.blogspot.com "Cristiano (GoodspeedRS)" <CristianoGoodspeedRS@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:515F8D3B-E260-41E6-9C8B-94929F6346DC@microsoft.com... > Does anyone know a way to discover which process is consuming most disk IO > in > Windows Server 2003?
