I received this email from a friend today.

Hi,

I am a facing a peculiar problem with my mail id. I cannot forward any message with picture(s). Whenever I forward such a message, the recipient(s) can see the picture(s) only when I am myself online.Note that I have my Outbound Characters set as Rich text format and it should allow picture(s) to go. But it seems only some hints of the picture(s) actually go to the recipient(s) and it retrieves the rest from my account only when I am logged into aim. I know you may be a bit unfamiliar with the features of my mail service provider, but can you recall any similar phenomenon from your own vast knowledge & experience?

With thanks in advance

Having never used AIM myself, I found this problem is very peculiar indeed and I could not find a solution to it. Thought I would better leave it to the experts.

Any suggestions on what he can try to resolve the problem?

Thanks in advance. :)

So no problem with sending the pics directly, but rather just in the forwarding?

If so, sounds like a forwarding restriction from the mail provider.

Thats exactly what I have suggested for the time being. Could there be any other alternate explanation for it?

Not that I know of.

Could be a restriction from the ISP as well.
