Seth Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 The following link is extremely boring if you're not into this sort of thing. If you are, the most interesting posts are the interaction between the author of SAS and one of the authors of MB. From an MB developer in response to a statement that MB is copying SAS's features: You are correct that there are a lot of similarities in the way MBAM is going compared SAS and it is intentional . SAS was the first free tool I ever used that I would actually call good . The good things about it are what we had in mind at the start . Goku Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Don't hit me if I say I am not into this sort of thing. :D Seriously though, it is no problem if there are many similarities between both of the programs. As most of us know, they still target different types of infections so the similarities can be overlooked. It looks like the Malwarebytes author considers the SUPERAntiSpyware's author as a role model. -- Goku Quote
AdvancedSetup Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Well not the author/programmer but the program. The marketing method chosen by SAS is often what is in disagreement, but he has the right to run his Company how he sees fit. . Quote Need help with your computer problems?
